Me as a Maker.

Pottery that makes you smile – I am a Michigan potter creating hand-built functional pottery for everyday use and simple pleasure. I first learned hand-building ceramics in college and returned to clay two years ago, drawn back by the sheer joy of making. That joy remains at the heart of my practice. Whether I’m shaping a mug, a teapot, a knitting bowl, or a small trinket dish, my goal is to create pottery that feels good in the hands and brings a smile to the moment it’s used.

My studio is located at Potter’s House in the historic Commercial Exchange Building in downtown Jackson, Michigan. I am a member of the Jackson Pottery Guild, and you can often find me sharing my work at the Jackson Farmer’s Market, as well as at regional art markets and online.
